"I started my small business in 2002. Initial business investments were costly, so an affordable website was a necessity. David Castro provided this for me while allowing me to participate in it's creation. I had very specific ideas about site navigation and David incorporated these ideas with his experience and knowledge to come up with a site I am very happy with. David developed the site incrementally so I was able to expand as my budget allowed. When I present David with an idea for my site, he is usually able to recommend a solution immediately. He continues to email me when he discovers new tools that may improve my site, but he is never a hard sell. I have enjoyed working with David over the past 8 years and I often recommend him to small business owners who have yet to invest in a website."

I hate going to a site to research a service or a product only to find out that they don't list their rates or prices on the site, itself. So, I post my hourly rates right on my site.

Commercial Web Application Development

My standard rate for web application development is $50/hour. I can also provide per-project pricing so that you know exactly what a feature will cost.

Non-profit Web Application Development

I provide a discounted rate of $25/hour for web application development for non-profits. As with commercial projects, I can provide per-project pricing.

Search Engine Optimization

While SEO is not my specialty, I have read fairly extensively about the topic. I apply what I know during the development of new sites and applications. To have me apply SEO techniques on an existing site, my hourly rate is $75.

Technical Writing

I have been a technical writer since 1995, and is what I do for my day job. As with SEO, when I develop a web site I apply my knowledge of content organization, expository writing, proper grammar and punctuation, and so on. You can also contract my services for non-web-site work at an rate of $75/hour.
